How To Earn As Home Physiotherapy With Minimal Investment

Author / Clinical Review

Lead Consultant Physiotherapist
Now at ~₹2 Lakh/mo
Solo practitioner. Home visits only. Basic equipment. Here's exactly how.
How much I earn
Every patient is above ₹700/session. All from home visit physio only. No clinic, no team.
Making a brand
- Website — mention the areas you serve and services you offer, use business schema so Google picks it up. You can check how mine appears: search Proper Care Physiotherapy Pune. You can ask @physiodesk.in to make something similar. Optional but gives more patient flow long-term.
- Google Maps listing — post 2–3 photos every week. Compulsory.
- Brand logo — Compulsory.
How to get patients
- If you don't want to spend on paid marketing (JustDial, Practo, Sulekha etc.) — just do the brand steps above. You'll start getting patients in 1–2 months.
- If you spend ₹4,000/month on paid platforms, you'll start getting patients in 3–5 days.
- Collaborate with local orthopaedic clinics and gyms — yes, you have to give them a cut, but it works.
- Later you'll get patients from referrals from old patients.
Managing patients
After you get many patients, managing records, billing, and analytics gets hard.
Billing issue I faced: patients started asking for a valid bill to submit to health insurance. Problem — most insurance companies don't accept handwritten or edited PDF bills.
I tried @physiodesk.in — their bills have a QR code on every invoice. When the insurance person scans it, it leads to a server verification page that confirms the bill is genuine.
Other features to explore — you can also negotiate the price with them. (Don't tell my name 😄)
How to get your free 7-day trial:
- Go to physiodesk.in/demo
- Enter promo code PHYSIO
- Set your ID and password
- Login at physiodesk.in/login
- Go to the Clinic tab — add your clinic name, logo etc.
How to set your home visit charge
After 2–3 months, keep ₹700 as your base price. Don't take patients below that — you will get exhausted.
